So we have just arrived in Darwin. Had a good time in East Timor - was great to meet up with some friends there. There is no pictures this time 'cos our laptop has died. It has this silly blue screen error - what does "Driver IRQL not less or equal mean????? Computer man trying to fix it here at internet cafe now. So in East Timor we mostly helped out with the Pre-school with just cleaning out their store room, in the 2nd week we helped teach them to play "cricket". We were PE teachers for a while. I got to do some teaching on Romans 8, with the discipleship group which was great. Oneday we went on this roadtrip. Was about a 4 hour drive to close to the East/West Timor border. Had roads that could rival what we went on in Thailand - they were more rugged and potholed but maybe Thailand wins for being steeper and having more corners. Anyway we got there after 4 hours - had lunch - then drove 4 hours back. Was two much for the poor Timorese Girl we took with us she threw up on the way back - poor thing. So was great to go back to Timor, who knows when or if we will ever get back there again.
As far as the future goes we still have no idea. Nell thinks we sit back and wait for a bit - I'm really keen to just apply and look else where. We both enjoyed Thailand, and are keen to explore that it more for mission opportunities. I will probably end up listening to my wise wife!! Which means we will come back, wait, pray and seek a bit more and see where God's wants us.
So anyway til then we will get a rental car and do another roadtrip - this time to Litchfield National Park.
Just saw the rugby results --- has no-one been cheering the NZ teams --- they may not even get into the Semi's. Come on people.
